This textbook on the Tatar language, published in Moscow in 1778, is a forerunner of the publications of the 19th century that propagated the Tatar culture. The work of Sagit Chal'fin, a high school teacher from Kazan, is written in Russian and Tatar, which is reproduced here in Arabic script. However, Tatar can also be written with Cyrillic or Latin letters.
