Heinrich Bullinger (1504–1575)
Heinrich Bullinger was the leading reformer and pastor of Zurich after Zwingli’s death. For over four decades from his place of influence in Zurich, Bullinger would promote the magistratical model of the Reformation, which gave priority for not only the care of religion but also the discipline of morals to the civil magistrates.
