The woodcut by the renowned draftsman, engraver and book artist Jost Amman (1539–1591) shows a family bathing in a 16th century bathhouse. The picture illustrates the title page of the Baderbuechlin by Paracelsus. An imprint is found in the writings Opus Chirurgicum published by Adam von Bodenstein in 1565 after Paracelsus' death.
