Marie and Pierre Curie in the Laboratory

This black-and-white photograph shows Marie and Pierre Curie at work in the laboratory. They were awarded the Nobel Prize for physics in 1903, and in 1911 Marie Curie was also awarded the Nobel Prize for chemistry.
