This map shows the principal centres of the Rebellion of the Alpujarras of 1568–1571 (War of the Alpujarras), the second series of uprisings by the Muslim population of the Kingdom of Granada (formerly, the Emirate of Granada) against their Catholic rulers (after the first uprisings 1499–1501).
