Built in the 18th century, the Royal Crescent in Bath, southern England, is one of the most opulent buildings of the Gregorian era. Originally, it housed 30 individual residences, which were available to the more affluent guests during the spa's heyday. Today, some of the rooms are part of a hotel and a museum.
