The engraving of The Great Hercules, also known as Knollenman or bulbous man by Hendrick Goltzius (1558–1617) shows a colossal Hercules confronting the viewer of the print with a naked body of bulging muscles, long-hair and bushy moustache but with quite a disproportionately small penis.
